Who We Are 2017-02-15T19:16:52+00:00

Together We Are More

Christ is what we are all about! We want to help you connect, grow, and serve as you live your life for Christ.

20/20 Vision

A unified congregation equipped to evangelize south Mississippi.

Mission

To glorify God by evangelizing the lost, edifying the saved, serving the needy, and living righteously.

Connect. Grow. Serve.

Be a part of the church that is connecting Christ with family, friends, and fellow man, growing in Christ, the Word, and relationships, and serving Christ, the church, and mankind.

What We Believe

God has given KW Church a vision to reach unchurched people who are far away from God. You may be thinking, “isn’t this the vision of every church?” The reality is that only 35% of people who live in Mississippi attend church. That means on any given Sunday, 65% of our neighbors, coworkers, friends and maybe even family don’t go to church. Many people are so deep in their brokenness, they don’t feel good enough to even enter the doors of a church. Others have been deeply hurt by the church and left not to return.

At KW Church, we believe it is imperative to design environments that align with our vision. That’s where things at KW Church are noticeably different from mainstream church culture. With purpose and intent, we work hard to create environments where outsiders feel welcome and accepted, because we believe when someone is relaxed and comfortable in an environment, their minds and their hearts are more receptive.

I’ve been married to Christ (1 Cor. 7:4), my first love, for four decades and married to Kim, the love of my life, for the past 34 years. I fondly look forward to heaven when my work here is finished and meeting all there that I’ve had an influence on, especially my three children, and all that have had an influence on me. Please pray for my work in the Lord to always be fruitful and that I always give Him the praise, honor, and glory.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.

C. S. Lewis
