20/20  Vision

God commands us to spread the gospel among the world, and that starts with the community for Kensington Woods. KW has efforts abroad but primarily focuses on reaching the Greater Hattiesburg Area.

Over the past couple of years, the Kensington Woods congregation has made an intentional effort to focus on its ability and effectiveness in spreading the gospel. The elders at KW have led the way with their vision and example in training members on how to conduct bible studies, explaining the value and importance of sharing the gospel with others, and leading the effort in spreading the gospel in South Mississippi and the world. With the addition of its Staff Evangelist, Robert Tipps, KW has been energized and encouraged to carryout its 20/20 Vision of being a unified congregation, not only equipped to but is evangelizing South Mississippi.

Mission

To glorify God by evangelizing the lost, edifying the saved, serving the needy, and living righteously.

To glorify God by evangelizing the lost, edifying the saved, serving the needy, and living righteously.

At KW, we understand that the essence of living a Christian life is comprised of evangelizing the lost on a daily basis. Second, we understand that the Lord has explained the purpose of assembling together is to encourage and admonish each person that chooses to spend their time at Kensington Woods. Last, we understand that a life in Christ does not stop after we are baptized; we are told to deny ourselves and pick up our cross on a daily basis, in order to continually please God.
